Master Data Analyst Austin, TX

You have an opportunity to leave your mark as the first Master Data Analyst at Amplify Snack Brands. This strategic role will own master data creation, maintenance, and validation within the company’s ERP and integrated solutions. This role will require cross-functional collaboration with global stakeholders to support the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the company.

It is critical that this professional has strong experience with enterprise level master data management and business processes, is detail oriented, and takes a logical approach to problem solving. The Master Data Analyst must possess interpersonal skills to partner with internal customers and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization and have the flexibility to assist with multiple master data-related projects in Austin, Texas.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  •   Create and maintain all master data in the ERP (NetSuite OneWorld) and integrated solutions.

  •  Analyze and enhance data quality and train users to ensure continuity of results.

  •  Provide creative yet logical approaches to solving data problems.

  •  Perform various levels of data validation across multiple systems. 

  •   Create and manage the data dictionary to support change management efforts.

  • Maintain policies and procedures to ensure uniform, accurate, and consistent data are present.

  • Support ad hoc internal customer requests, business systems projects, and SOX requirements.

    Required Education

  •  Bachelor’s degree in Business, preferably Information Technology, Accounting, or related degree.

  • Equivalent years of ERP master data and business process experience may be considered.

    Required Experience & Skills

  • 3 years’ experience or more with master data management within an ERP.

  • Understanding of fundamental business processes and the effect of data downstream.

  • Strong attention to detail with ability to analyze and manipulate data.

  •  Logical, process-based approach to problem solving with an ability to learn and apply new information.

  •  Priority setting, organization, and project management skills.

  • Ability to clearly communication skills and a positive, professional attitude.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel and data import methodologies; NetSuite and SQL knowledge preferred.

  •  Capacity to work on multiple initiatives in a lean, fast paced, and action-oriented environment.
